Bette N. Wilson

Ms. Bette N. Wilson, age 79, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 in El Dorado, Arkansas. Ms. Wilson was born October 3, 1937, in Prescott, Arkansas, and lived in El Dorado, Arkansas for most of her life. She enjoyed a career as a nurse anesthetist in El Dorado before retiring. She was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church. Ms. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents Owen and Vernell Wilson of Prescott, Arkansas; three brothers, Byron Watson Wilson, Owen Wilson, Jr., and Tillman Wilson; and two sisters, Delma Smith and Carolyn Hart. Ms. Wilson is survived by her sister, Mary McMillan of Pasadena, Texas. Additionally, Ms. Wilson was a loving and devoted aunt to Charles Wilson of Norman, Oklahoma, Barbara Zook of Noble, Oklahoma, Don Wilson of Lawton, Oklahoma, Larry Wilson of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Barry Wilson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Steve Morgan (deceased); Cathy Keen (deceased); Jim Morgan of Baytown, Texas, John Smith of Austin, Texas, Paul Smith of Austin, Texas; Patti McMillan of Katy, Texas, Les McMillan of Pasadena, Texas; Rusty Hart of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Kristi Hart of Austin, Texas. Ms. Wilson was deeply loved and cherished by her nieces and nephews, their spouses, their children, and countless other friends and family. A memorial service will be held at Parkview Baptist Church of El Dorado, Arkansas on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott, Arkansas with Bro. Ken Overton, Bro. Lyle Hern, and Bro. Tommy Robertson officiating. Burial to follow in Sweet Home Cemetery in Blevins, Arkansas.
