Shirley Dean Ferguson Jordan

Shirley Dean Ferguson Jordan, 78, of Pasadena, Calif., passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at home in Little Rock, Ark., with family. She was born May 28, 1937, in Scott, Ark. to William Ferguson, Sr. and Ida Belle Wayne Ferguson. Shirley graduated from St. Bartholomew High School in Little Rock, Ark. Shirley dedicated her life to work as a nurse for 50 years in Pasadena, Calif. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Belle Wayne Ferguson and brother, Cornelius "Neal" Ferguson. Shirley is survived by her father, William Ferguson Sr.; sister, Erma Ferguson of Little Rock, Ark.; brother, A.D. Washington of Scott, Ark.; sister, Classie Ferguson of Pasadena, Calif.; and brother, William Ferguson, Jr. (Ada Pearl) of Los Angeles, Calif., and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Services: Saturday, February, 6, 2016, 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery.
