Thomas Earl Scott, 64, of Cabot, died Wednesday, February 3, 2016. He was born January 9, 1952 in Thornton, Ark., to the late John Frank, Sr. and Connie Lee Stell Scott. Thomas was a member of Cabot Church of Christ and enjoyed working with the youth group. He was a sales representative for Keebler Cookie Company for over 30 years. Tom had two loves in life, his family and baseball. Tom loved being involved with his children and grandchildren. In his spare time, he loved spending time with his granddaughters. He enjoyed watching Leanne cheerleading, and watching Dustin in football and baseball. He loved coaching and umpiring, and he was up for attending any sporting event. He even filled in coaching his granddaughter's softball team when needed. Tom had recently taken a trip with his son Dustin, and granddaughters, Madelyn and Sydney, to watch his beloved St. Louis Cardinals play baseball. He lived for family gatherings and celebrations. Tom always had a camera in his hand ready to take pictures of his granddaughters. He was always willing to lend a hand to any home project that needed to be done. Tom had a young spirit, which was evident by his love of cartoons and animated pajama pants. He was preceded in death by his parents. Thomas is survived by his wife, Denise A. Scott; children, Dustin Scott (Kristen), and Leanne Johnson (Mark); grandchildren, Madelyn Scott, Sydney Scott, Katelyn Scott, Hayle Johnson, and Ashley Johnson; brother, John Scott Jr. (Sharon); sister, Lena Mae Womack (James); nephew, Scott Womack (Kim) and family, and niece, Beverly Ellis (Jake) and family. Visitation will be Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Cabot Church of Christ, from 10-11 a.m., with memorial service beginning at 11 a.m. Donations may be made to Cabot Church of Christ.
