Berley William "Bill" Mark, 76, of Rogers Ark. passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Jamestown Nursing and Rehab in Rogers, Ark. He was born November 1, 1939, in Vinita, OK to Faye and Inez Mark. On September 1st, 1963, he married Linda Lerae Berry in Coffeeville, Kan. Together they raised three children and cared for many foster children. After attending Coffeeville Community College, he went to work for Funk Manufacturing in Coffeeville, Kan. where he worked his way up to Mechanical Engineer. He worked for Rockwell for a few years, but the majority of his career was with Emerson Electric. His sense of humor was one of a kind; simple, sarcastic and country. Reminiscent of Will Rogers; a man of few words and quick with a one liner, he loved to make others smile. He will be remembered mostly for his love of family. His wife, children and grandchildren were his focus in life. And if you were close to anyone in his family then you were family too. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Bill is survived by a son, Mike Mark; two daughters, Lisa Cops (husband, Terry) and Lori Mark; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; two nieces and two nephews. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Jamestown Nursing and Rehab for taking such wonderful care of both of their parents. A private family service will be held, at a later date, in Kansas and Oklahoma. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers. Online condolences may be made to stockdalefuneral.com.
