Charles William "Rooster" Stacks, 74, of Conway, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, February 18, 2016. He was born on Thursday, July 10, 1941 in Greenbrier to the late William Porter Stacks and Rose Lea Acre Stacks. Mr. Stacks was a retired truck driver for TARCO Roofing Company in North Little Rock having worked there for 31 years and having driven over 4 million miles. Since retiring he has remained busy taking care of his mother and joining a large group of friends who meet at Bob's Grill and have breakfast each morning. In addition to that group there was a group of friends that met at the fitness center and another group at the library where they played Bridge. He was a Mason, a Shriner and of the Baptist faith. But most importantly he was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his father and a grandson, Shawn Westbrooks. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Rose Lea Stacks of Conway; daughters, Tracy Spikes (Jim) of North Little Rock, Arkansas and Terry O'Leary (Kristopher) of Fowlerville, Michigan; sister, Linda Hammon of Phoenix, Arizona; son-in-law, Russell Westbrooks of Conway; grandchildren, Bridget Gammons (Carlos), Kyle Richardson and Candis Burdess; four great-grandchildren, Brooke, Caden, Avahlyn and Hailey; and a host of other family and friends. Family visitation will be Sunday, February 21, 2016, 2:00-4:00PM, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway (501) 327-7727. Funeral service will be Monday, February 22, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Michael Deerman officiating. Interment will follow in the Republican Cemetery in Greenbrier.
