LOUIS MANLEY "BUCK" SOULE, 89, of Sherwood passed away Feb. 16, 2016. He was born in Fayetteville, Ark. on Nov. 7, 1926 to the late Louis Earl and Pauline (Ivy) Soule. Louis was a retired Chief Warrant Officer with the U.S. Navy after 33 years of service, having served during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He also served directly under President Dwight D. Eisenhower. He was a faithful Christian and was a member of the Gardener Memorial United Methodist Church, where he served as Deacon and volunteered at the food bank. He was a retired and past president of the National Bowling League. He is survived by his wife of nine years, Joyce Soule; son, William Earl "Bill" Soule (Sandra) of Westchester, Pa.; two grandchildren, Erin Soule and Owen Soule; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Morris Soule and his first wife, Wanda Louise Soule, and brother, Jim Soule. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016 with the funeral to follow at 10:30 a.m. at the Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial will be at the Little Rock National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church, 1723 Schaer St, North Little Rock, Ark. 72114.
