Selma Sabbs Thomas

Selma Sabbs Thomas 89, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, formerly of Little Rock, transitioned to rest Monday, Feb. 15, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, T.J.Thomas and her parents, Elizabeth and Snobey Coley and James Jones. Selma, affectionately known as "Angel" is survived by her daughters: Jacquelyn Sabbs of Lees Summit, Mo., Pamela Ward Moore (Frank) of Jackson, Miss., and Betty Sabbs Frazier of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; step-daughter, Bernice Cole of N. Little Rock, Ark.; brothers, Harvey Coley (Joanne) of Compton, Calif. and Hollis Coley (Margie) of Long Beach, Calif.; sisters, Ethel Mae Gooden of Marino Valley, Calif. and Gladys Turner of Scott, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grands; 15 great-great-grands and a host of loving relatives and friends. The family hour will be held, Sunday, Feb 21, 2016, 4 p.m.-5 p.m. at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St., Little Rock, AR 72202, (501) 372-1305. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, 11 a.m. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church #3, 3801 Springer Blvd., Little Rock, Ark.
