Adoulph "Al" Kitchens

Adoulph "Al" Kitchens, age 81, of Maumelle, died February 20, 2016. Mr. Kitchens was born May 23, 1934, in Perry County, Arkansas. He was a member of Central Baptist Church was retired from the Little Rock Police Department and from the Arkansas Department of Human Services, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Gwen Kitchens of Maumelle; a son and daughter-in-law, Martin Lee and Holly Kitchens of Little Rock; a daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Ebbie Alan Harvill of Maumelle; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, February 25 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway with Rev. Temon Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home 501-224-8300. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, 1812 Pleasant Run Road, Malvern, Arkansas 72104.
