Gennie Mae Holyfield

Gennie Mae Holyfield, age 97, of Morrilton, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016. Survivors include: one son: Jim "Sonny" Holyfield of Morrilton; two daughters: Judy Roberson (Jim) of Morrilton and Rhonda Blackwood (Rick) of Atlanta, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; and one sister Jane Inman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 1/2 years: Clyde E. Holyfield; daughter: Shirley Jean Holyfield Shreiner; sister: Virginia Shull; and two brothers: Aubrey and Virgil New. Funeral services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Morrilton. Burial: Martinville Cemetery. Family Hour: 6–8 p.m. Wednesday, February 24 at the funeral home.
