Kaytlynn Marie Vaughn

Kaytlynn Marie Vaughn, age 15, of Searcy, left this earth Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016. She was born July 5, 2000 in Searcy, Ark. to Gary Lynn Vaughn and Trina Kay Tippy. She is survived by both parents; her sister, Kristen Jo Vaughn; brother, Justin Parker Vaughn; grandparents, Judith Tippy and Ronnie and Marsha Smith; cousins, aunts and uncles. Kaytlynn was preceded by her brother, Alec Brian Mendenhall; grandfather, Bobby Tippy; and uncle, Brian Keith Tippy. Visitation is Monday, Feb. 29 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Valley Baptist Church in Searcy. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 1 at Valley Baptist Church at 1:30 p.m, followed by graveside services at Antioch Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Brother Matthew Corkran and Pastor Randy Morris with music performed by Dr. Jason and Kristi Merrick. Kaytlynn was an avid athlete, musician, and animal lover. She participated in basketball, track & field, but her competitive spirit thrived while playing softball for Searcy High School and Searcy Storm. Even though Kaytlynn had a quiet demeanor, she enjoyed singing with the choir. Kaytlynn enjoyed horseback riding on her horse, Santana and playing with her dog, Rylee. She was a beautiful soul, kind, witty, and perfect in the eyes of all who knew her. Kaytlynn meant the world to everyone in her life and will be missed beyond measure.
