Ioma S. McKinney, age 89, left this life and went home to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on January 3,2016, in Warren Arkansas. Preceding her in death was her husband Samuel Clois McKinney who died on November 17, 1971 after 23 Years of marriage. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Milton and Bealer Thornton Stedman, sisters, Virginia Taylor & Pauline Hollingsworth. Faith, prayer & family were the most important aspects of her life. Ioma served 20 years as the Bradley County Clerk. After retiring she fulfilled her life long dream of traveling and proudly visited each of the 50 states of the United States of America as well as several trips abroad. Prior to her battle with Alzheimer's she enjoyed: flower gardening, feeding wildlife, fishing, staying physically fit with daily walks, and teaching the Willing Workers Sunday School class at Calvary Baptist Church. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church of Warren, and the Business & Professional Women's Club serving as both president and also selected as BPW woman of the year and was a member of the Bradley County Library Board . She was an avid fan of Arkansas Razorback basketball, football and baseball. Ioma was a Warren Booster Club Member supporting both athletics and the WHS band for over fifty years. She is survived by one brother Milton Wayne Stedman and wife Jean of Warren, Ark. Her children: Joy & James Kitchens, Klay & LaWanda McKinney, Jan Jay & Shannon Gorman all of Warren, Ark., June & Robert (Bob) Clark of Little Rock, Ark and K.W. & Danielle McKinney of Castro Valley, Calif.; nine grandchildren: Kevin Kitchens, Kayla Kitchens Andrus, Ryan McKinney,Reid McKinney, Luke Gorman and Stone Gorman all of Warren, Ark., Julienne Clark Stephan of Little Rock, Ark. and Jacob McKinney and Megan McKinney; 10 great-grandchildren, JJ Kitchens, Tessa Andrus, Jorja Andrus, Colt McKinney, Cooper Mckinney, Livi McKinney and Sophie McKinney of Warren, Ark. and Noah Stephan of Little Rock, Jennifer Biggers of Tampa, Fla. and Brad Biggers of College Station, Texas. Pallbearers: Klay McKinney, KW McKinney, Kevin Kitchens, Ryan McKinney, Reid McKinney, Luke Gorman, Stone Gorman and JJ Kitchens. Honorary Pallbearers: Warren High School Class of 1944, Goldenagers of Calvary Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Frazer's Funeral home on Tuesday January 5, 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be Wednesday January 6, at 10 a.m. in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home with Bro.
