Mallie Bonita Beene, age 67, of Jacksonville died June 26, 2016. She was born April 12, 1949 in Muskegon, Mich. to the late Ivory and Elizabeth Humes Jordan. She was a faithful and active member of Living Waters Church of God In Christ. Survivors include her husband, Elder Eugene Beene of Jacksonville; her daughters, Lashaon (Tony) Porchia, Alisia Smith and Nicole Smith; her siblings, Ivory (Bobbie) Caviness, Renee (Louis) Threatts and James (Kesha) Jordan; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family. Funeral service: 11 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Living Waters Church of God in Christ, 306 Grove Street, Hot Springs. Visitation: one hour prior to the service.
