Leola Fern Stringfellow of Rogers passed away on June 30, 2016. She was born on January 7, 1943 in Alton, Missouri to the late Les and Agnes Darr. Leola will be remembered as a hard worker who was proud of the family she raised. For 30 years she worked for the Glad Manufacturing factory making sure their machines ran smoothly. At home she was an avid gardener. She loved to fish and was a member of the local Bassin' Belles fishing club. Always active, she also enjoyed traveling for both pleasure and on Christian missions. In 1961 she married Dale Hunter Stringfellow of Chaffee, Missouri and was his loving wife until his death in 1987. Leola is survived by her children, Scott Stringfellow and wife Sharon of Cypress, Texas, Sheila Kealy and partner Nathan Hasson; grandchildren, Jordan Crabb, Ryann Richelle Stringfellow, Dale Hunter Stringfellow, Kaitlynn Necole Kealy, Ethan James Hasson; and a sister, Jewelene Pratt. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister, Duronda Walthall. Visitation will be from 5 to 7: p.m. on Sunday, July 3, at First Baptist Rogers on Pleasant Grove Rd. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, also at the church. Burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery.
