JAMES THOMAS "TOM" SCOTT, SR., age 86, of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016. He was born to the late Marvel Thomas and Mattie Holley Scott. Tom was manager of the Commissary at Little Rock Air Force Base. He was a member of Rose City Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder. Tom loved camping, gardening, working in his yard, and carpentry work. Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Jean; three brothers, three sisters; and son-in-law, Darrell Story. He is survived by one son, James Thomas "Tommy" Scott, Jr. (Rhonda) of Sherwood; two daughters, Teresa Story of North Little Rock and Jamie Pinegar (Mike) of Nashville, Ark.; six grandchildren: Adam Story (Christina), Cecily Story, Matthew Pinegar (Andrea), Zachary Pinegar (Carolanne), Kaley Achor (Brandon), and Caroline Scott; nine great-grandchildren and a host of extended family. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 5 in the chapel of Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Little Rock, Ark.
