Sue Ellen Ward

Sue Ellen Ward, age 62, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 in Fayetteville. She was born April 21, 1954 in Little Rock, Ark., the daughter of Samuel Phil and Virginia Kerr Wilson. Sue Ellen was a graduate of Oklahoma State University and a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She was a dedicated Kindergarten teacher at Farmington Public Schools. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, where she was in the church choir and director of a children's choir. She had a long battle with cancer but never allowed it to interfere with her full life. She is survived by her husband, Larry Ward; a son, Michael Ward & his wife Tara of Olympia, Wash., and a brother, John Wilson & his wife Sarah of Independence, Kansas. Visitation will be 4–6 p.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Moore's Chapel. Burial will be Wednesday July 6 at 9:15 a.m. at Fairview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Moore's Funeral Chapel, followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m. at First United Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville.
