Gene T. Abramovitz

Gene T. Abramovitz, 85, was taken home to be with our Lord on July 5, 2016. Gene is survived by his wife of 56 years, Pauline, his son Richard (Deborah), his daughter Marcella (Robert), and all his loving grandchildren. Gene was born Nov. 4 1930 in Pierce City, Missouri to Toney and Clara Abramovitz. Gene had served in the United State Air Force for 20 years. He loved spending time in nature, the outdoors and with animals. He was a member of the St. Jude's Catholic Church community. Gene was a fantastic husband, father, and grandfather. He was always proud of the accomplishments of his family. Visitation will be held at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home on Thursday July 7, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. Rosary will follow. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home on Friday July 8, 2016. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
