Josie Thompson Frost

Josie Thompson Frost, age 90 of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016. Mrs. Frost was born July 11, 1925 in Herbine, to the late Porter and Alma V. Tucker. Mrs. Frost was preceded in death by her first husband, James Wilbert Thompson. Survived by husband, Benton Frost of Little Rock; son, Randy (Vickie) Thompson of New Edinburg; daughters, Janelle (James) Sinclair of Little Rock, Glenda (John) Appleget of Rison, Kaye (Phil) Cooper of Florence, Alabama; step-daughter, Gladys Brown of Russellville; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Bingham Road Baptist Church in Little Rock with Brother Roger Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Reaves Cemetery in New Edinburg. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2016 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home in Rison.
