Carolyn Stuart Lawyer

Carolyn (Stuart) Lawyer, 82, of Conway, formerly of Batesville, died Thursday, July 7, 2016, in Conway. Born February 6, 1934, in Batesville, she was the daughter of Fred Edgar Stuart and Zelda (Estes) Stuart. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, John "Jack" Harlen Lawyer of Conway; a daughter, Susan Whittenberg, and her husband, David, of Conway; a grandchild, Jacqueline "Jackie" (Maples) Hollis, and her husband, Max, of Conway; and a brother, Fred Stuart Jr., of Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy (White) Stuart. There will be a graveside service at 4 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville with Steve Reeves of Searcy officiating. Arrangements are by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville. There will also be a memorial service at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Four Winds Church, 2005 Dave Ward Drive, Conway, Arkansas.
