Beverly "Bev" Sanford Eberle

BEVERLY "BEV" or "B" SANFORD EBERLE, 77, died unexpectedly in her home July 8, 2016. She was born Dec. 7, 1938 to William Burdell Sanford and Mildred Young Sanford of Earle, Ark. Bev was a cheerleader and graduated from Little Rock Central High in 1956, attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She was a lifelong member and past President of the 20th Century Club; on the Board of Runway for a Cause, and Special Events Coordinator for Sponsorship and Fundraising; a long time member of the Arkansas Legal Administrators Association; and retired Office Manager of Laser Law Firm for over 30 years. She was a leader and instrumental in the development, construction and fundraising for the new Hope Lodge facility. Bev set an incredible example of being positive in the face of adversity. We should all continue to strive to BE LIKE B! Her strong spirit, determination for life, and her incredible love and devotion for her family and many friends was never ending. She will ALWAYS be remembered for her beautiful, sweet loving smile, and never tiring efforts for her many special projects in so many areas. She consistently gave of herself tirelessly and endlessly for others. Bev is survived by her loving and caring husband, John Eberle; Daughters, DeAnne Fogleman Thomas, Debbie Fogleman Williamson (Mark); Son, John Fogleman III (Kilee); Stepson, Brad Eberle (Diane); Stepdaughter, Mandy Eberle; grandchildren, Baylor, Elizabeth and Annie Thomas; Hayden and Griffin Woodall; Kyle, Kennedy and Cody Fogleman; Brandon, Rebecca and Rachel Eberle; Parker and Patrick Scoggins. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dorothy Lee Downs. A very special and sincere thank you to her fantastic team of physicians: Dr. Kent Westbrook, Dr. Lawrence Mendlesohn, and Dr. Scott Stern and to the many nurses, technicians and Staff of CARTI, Tanglewood Drug Store and UAMS. It is hard for words to express how their true compassion, friendship and dedication made such a tremendous contribution and impact to Bev and her battle for a continuing quality of life! It did make a difference! Services will be at St. James United Methodist Church on Pleasant Valley Drive, Tuesday July 12, 2016 at 11 a.m., a reception will follow at the church.
