Clara Askegren Herrin

Clara Askegren Herrin, 95, resident of Deatsville, Ala., went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 8, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Millbrook Church of the Nazarene, Millbrook, Ala., with Reverend Carl Reed officiating. Burial will be Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 11 a.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile, Ala. Mrs. Herrin was preceded in death by her husband, William Bethel Herrin Jr. She is survived by two sons, Bill (Mary) Herrin, Fred (Mona) Herrin; one daughter, Dorothy (Kent) Farris; eight grandchildren, Kevin (Kerry) Herrin, Shawn (Lisa) Herrin, Rachel (Blake) Cowle-Healy, Colleen Pond, Scott Herrin, Shannon Entrekin, Alan (Katie) Farris, Marty (Becca) Farris and 14 great-grandchildren.
