Melvin Dale Orender

Melvin Dale Orender, 71 of Bryant, passed away Monday, July 11, 206 with his wife by his side. He was born August 2, 1944 in Bauxite, Arkansas. Melvin was a salesman for Grace Communications and served on the Bryant Planning Commission for 23 years.He was a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church. Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Jewel Mae Orender and a sister,Juanita McClain. He is survived by hi wife of 16 years, Debbie Gaye Orender of Bryant; four sons, Michael (Nikki) Orender of Mississippi, Matthew (Sandy) Orender of Benton, Tim (Misty) Vaughan of Bauxite and Christopher (Ashley) Vaughan of Benton; daughter, Tabitha (John) Orender of Little Rock; three brothers, Clyde (Delores) Orender Jr. of Georga, Don (Mary) Orender of North Little Rock and Marion (Bonita) Orender of Benton; two sisters, Betty Muhleisen of Benton and Barbara Harris of Slidell, Lousiana; 27 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 13 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, July 14 at Ashby Funeral Home. Bro. Tom Williams will be officiating.
