Donald Earl Williams

Donald Earl Williams, 76, of Bryant passed away on July 15, 2016. Born on September 11, 1939 in Beebe, Arkansas to Leslie Leo Williams and Nora Mae Hallmark Williams. He graduated Jacksonville High School in 1957 and retired from Union Pacific Railroad in 2001 after 42 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Nora Mae Hallmark Williams. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Marsha; daughters, Rhonda (Rob) Hetland of Bigelow and Connie Williams of Bryant; step-children, Missy Edgin of Roland and Richard (Charidy) Evans of Bryant; four step-grandchildren, Joey Edgin, Alisha Evans Greenwalt, Gabriel Donald Edgin and Michael Edgin; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, James (Jean) Williams of Newport News, Va. and Leslie (Shirley) Williams, Jr. of Jacksonville; four sisters, Mary Lee Ferris of Vilonia, (twin) Dorothy Flood of Jacksonville, Wanda (Dennis) Stewart of Fernley, NV and Rebecca (Clinton) Looper of Jacksonville. He enjoyed traveling, beachcombing, diving, camping, fishing and water skiing. A special thanks to the many people who went out of their way to be kind and helpful. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in his honor to the Alzheimer's Association. A Celebration of life event will be held at Jacksonville Community Center, Banquet Hall C on July 22nd from 6 to 8 p.m. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main, Jacksonville, Ark. www.anaturalstatefuneralservice.com.
