Phyllis E. Dudley

Phyllis E. Dudley, 85, of Little Rock, passed away July 18, 2016. She was born in Girard, Illinois to John A. and Virgie Dudley who preceded her in death along with her brother, John F. Dudley and great-niece, Dawn Leslie. She was a faithful member of Oak Forest United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir, helping with the children in Sunday School, and serving in many activities. Following her retirement from the Arkansas State Health Department, she volunteered at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. She is survived by her brother, Robert G. Dudley and wife, Jane of El Dorado; nieces, Laura Hallinan (James) of Syosset, New York and Joan Dudley (Erik Ostermueller); nephew, Robert Dudley Jr. (Vada Burger), and four great-nephews, Owen and John Ostermueller and Calvin and Henry Dudley, all of Little Rock. Services will be held on Thursday, July 21 at 11 a.m. at Oak Forest United Methodist Church, followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 10 a.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to Oak Forest United Methodist Church, 2415 Fair Park Blvd., Little Rock, Ark. 72204.
