Charles Wendell McGloflin, 82, of Cabot, died Thursday, July 21, 2016. He was born March 21, 1934 to the late Sam B. McGloflin and Lois Kerr McGloflin. He served 21 years in the United States Air Force, and spent 20 years at Cabot High School as a coach and history teacher. Charles thought Cabot High School was the greatest. He belonged to Soka Gakkai International (SGI), and was of Buddhist faith. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Itsu Yamane McGloflin; nephews, Joe McGloflin Jr. and Billy Miller; niece, Connie Wolf; great-nephews, Caleb and Cory Miller, and Audie Wolf; siblings, Jean Miller of Oklahoma and Joe McGloflin of Cabot; aunt, Lela Roberts of Jacksonville, and many cousins. Visitation will be Friday, July 22, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. A Buddhist ceremony will be Saturday, July 23rd at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt.
