Martha DuPriest Clement departed this life on July 15, 2016, She was born Sept. 28, 1932, in McRae, Ark., to the late Ebb and Pauline DuPriest. She graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1950. She married Claude H. Clement Jr, of Furlow on Sept. 15, 1951. She was a retired bookkeeper for Elaine Implement. She was a member of First United Methodist Church-Harisburg, serving on many local, district and conference committees of the UMC. She was a member of the United Methodist Women and served as a Sunday School teacher frorn nursery thru senior high, UMY and adult classes. She was a sustaining member of the Baptist Hospital Volunteers. When not serving her church, she loved to cook for her family, she enjoyed canning and traveling with Claude. Martha was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sarah DuPriest Alberson. She is survived by her loving spouse, Claude "June" Clement Jr. of Harrisburg, Ark.; a brother, Gerald DuPriest, Conway, Ark. and a brother-in-law, Bill Alberson, North Little Rock, Ark. She is also survvied by her children, whom she loved deeply, Claudia Mathews (Allen), Hanisburg, Ark.; Steven Clement (Clara), Parkdale, Ark.; and Cheryl Neelon (Bob), Summerville, S.C. Her loving family expanded with grandchildren: Justin Pamplin (Carole), Parkdale, Ark.; Christopher Mathews, Harrisburg, Ark.; Zachary Pamplin (Michelle), Parkdale, Ark.; Kyle Berryman, Monticello, Ark.; and Casey Kocher, Harrisburg, Ark.. Blessings continued with nine great-grandchildren: Madison, Riley, Hanna, Kye Emma, Havanna, Adalen, Ely, Kylie and Jacob. ln lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harrisburg United Methodist Church Bread of Life Food Pantry, Concord Cemetery, or a charity of your choice. Visitation will be at 9 a.m., July 25, 2016, with a memorial service following at Harrisburg UMC. Visitation will also be held at Concord United Methodist Church, in Furlow, Ark., beginning at 3 p.m. on July 25, 2016, with a memorial service following, with Rev. Clark Atkins officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery. Arrangements are with Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke, Ark.
