Phillip Rowland Shewmaker III

Phillip R. Shewmaker III, of Little Rock died Thursday, May 19, 2016. He was born May 3, 1972 in Nashville, Tennessee. Beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, Phillip was an honor graduate of Searcy High School in 1990, and continued his education at the University of Central Arkansas earning degrees in chemistry and biology. Phillip loved cooking, traveling, and the Arkansas Twisters. Phillip was preceded in death by both parents; his father Phillip Shewmaker Jr. and his mother, Sandy Jackson Shewmaker, his grandparents: Leo S. Jackson, Phillip Sr. and Juanita Shewmaker; and one Aunt Kaye Shewmaker. Those left to mourn his passing include his grandmother, Betty Jackson; four Aunts, Joan Shewmaker, Linda Jackson Bolding, Debbie Jackson Moore and Terri Jackson McInturff, an uncle, Gary Leo Jackson, and a cousin, Todd Bolding. Others saddened by this loss are his work family for the last 19 years, the fine people of Arkansas Department of Health/Public Health Laboratory, along with high school and college friends. A memorial service will be held on June 11, at 11:00 a.m. at the Carmichael Center, 801 S. Elm, in Searcy, Arkansas. All Cremation services have been entrusted to Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
