Ben Farmer

Benjamin "Ben" Richard Farmer, age 29, of Bryant, passed away Monday June 6, 2016. He was born December 4, 1986, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Ben graduated from Bryant High School and continued his education at Ouachita Baptist University and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He earned bachelor degrees in Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. Ben worked for Kohler in Sheridan as an engineer. He attended First Baptist Church of Benton and Holland Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Ben was a member of 1st Southern Baptist Church in Bryant. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard E. and Eleanor Farmer and an uncle, Richard Farmer, Jr. He is survived by his parents, Tom and Cheryl Farmer; two brothers, Tadd Farmer and wife Elizabeth & their children, Ella, Sophie, Seth & Millie and Josh Farmer and wife Sarah & their daughter, Lucy; grandparents, Conrad and Ann Wilson; aunts and uncles, Karen Foshee & her children, Jeremy & Justin; David and Freda Wilson & their children, Kate, Joy, Conrad, Bess & David Joe and Julie Wilson & her daughter, Ann Jillian Clements and a slew of church family & friends. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 8 in Selph Hall at First Baptist Church in Benton. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 9 at First Baptist Church in Benton with burial at Pine Crest Memorial Park. Dr. Rick Grant will be officiating.
