Bill Lefler

Bill Lefler, age 82, of Conway, passed away, Tuesday, June 7, 2016. He was born September 5, 1933, in Jerusalem, Arkansas, a son of Oscar Thomas Lefler and Aileen Hurst Lefler Brents. He was an Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired Wal Mart Employee and a member of Central Baptist Church of Conway. Survivors include his wife, Ann Stracener Lefler of Conway, sons, Mike (Teresa) Lefler of Conway; Stephen (Hope) Lefler of Ft. Smith; brother, C.R. "Bud" Lefler of Morrilton, and Joe Lefler of Sugarland, Texas; sister, Stella Hodges of Little Rock; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Bobbie Henderson. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 9, at Central Baptist Church of Conway with Rev. Mike Lefler, and Rev. Don Chandler officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at the funeral home.
