Evelyn Kay Davenport, 54, of Cabot, died Tuesday, June 8, 2016. She was born May 21, 1962 in Little Rock to the late Clifford Wilson Sr. and Nora Sullivan Wilson Pierce. Throughout her career, Evelyn was employed as a bookkeeper for Northwood Middle School and Blue Cross Blue Shield. She fought a long, hard, battle with cancer, but remained focused on her family. She was a caregiver to everyone before herself. She was well loved and respected by her colleagues and friends. She is survived by her husband, Michael Davenport; children, Cody Davenport, and Kasey Leeson (Brent); grandchildren, Braylon and Everett Leeson; sister, Donna Csunyo (John); brothers, Clifford Wilson Jr. (Marcie), and Roger Harmon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Saturday, June 11th at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Jacksonville at 2 p.m. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
