TSgt. Herbert Triplett, Jr. USAF (Ret.), age 64, of Jacksonville passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016. He was born March 3, 1952 in Marianna, Arkansas to the late Herbert Triplett Jr. and Verna Mae Thompson Triplett. Mr. Triplett retired from the United States Air Force for over 20 years. He served in the National Guard during Vietnam later transferring to the Air Force and serving during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was preceded in death by his son Herbert Triplett III, one brother, Sam Wallace Triplett, and one sister Luberta Triplett. He is survived by his wife Belinda of 18 years, his children, Yolanda McClain (Robert) of Fayetteville, N.C., Rashonna Moore and her husband Jamel of Edmond, Okla., Shauntia Triplett of Dallas, Texas, Keyontae Triplett of Del City, Okla., Delisa McBride and her husband Ray Anthony of Corpus Christi, Texas, Shone Row of North Little Rock, Kenyatta Row of North Little Rock, Rose Frazier of Slidell, La., 17 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, his sisters; Johnnie Mae Tillman of Michigan City, Indiana, Vanice Daniels of Riverdale, Georgia, his brothers; Eddie (Diane) Triplett of Forest Park, Ill., Lafayette Triplett of Michigan City, Ind., Jackie Triplett of South Bend, Ind., Demetrius Triplett of South Bend, Ind., a special sister, Eula Jennings of Finley, Minnesota; an aunt Myrtle Peacock of Illinois, one uncle Joe Roberts of Montgomery, Aland Peter and Nettie Roberts of Chicago, Ill., a special aunt Naomi Stevenson, his father-in-law, Clarence Johnson of New Orleans, La., his mother-in-law, Corrine Johnson of North Little Rock, and a special sister-in-law, Linda Fay Collins; along with a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2016 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery with military honors.
