Danny Ray Carter

Danny Ray Carter, 61, of Jacksonville passed from this life on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. He was born on March 13, 1955 to Ray Carter and Shirley Carter Prince in Vallejo, California. Danny is preceded in death by his father, Ray; grandparents, Vetta Nanette and George Joseph Gallegos of San Diego, California; grandparents, Walter Guy and Neddie Carter of Jacksonville, Arkansas; numerous aunts and uncles. Danny was affiliated with Second Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Arkansas and a former member of Sylvan Hill Community Church. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Shirley Carter Prince; two daughters, Heather Nicole Carter Mistric and fiancé, Casey Williams of Maumelle, Arkansas and Keri Leann Carter Mann (Chris) of Bryant, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Payton Hasley Mistric and Luke Grady Mann; siblings, Ricky Carter (Tammy) of Cabot, Arkansas, Mary Twitty (Jeff) of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Steve Carter (Cindy) of Cabot, Arkansas; nephews, Ricky Carter (Brittany), Chris Carter (Kim), Austin Carter (Mandy), Brian Twitty, Travis Twitty, Nick Carter and fiancée, Deidre Kelly. The family requests memorials be made in his honor to The American Cancer Society. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Sylvan Hills Community Church with Brother Tim McMinn officiating.
