Roy Henry Wetzler, Jr., 81, of Lake Village, Ark., passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark. of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Mr. Roy was born in Lake Village, Ark. on Jan. 24, 1935 to the late Roy Henry Wetzler, Sr. and Marguerite Craft Wetzler. He was owner and partner of Phillips Fence Company in Lake Village, Ark. for many years. He served as a Gideon Speaker and Treasurer for Gideon's International for many years and also served as a deacon at Lake Village Baptist Church. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, M.D. Phillips. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Beverly Marks Wetzler; son, Brian Wetzler and his wife, Linda of Lake Village, Ark.; daughter, Amy Ruth Wetzler of Lake Village, Ark.; sister, Dixie Phillips of Lake Village, Ark.; grandchildren: Lindsey Wright, Bria Wetzler, Tyler Jones, Lilly Jones and Charity Mathes; great-grandchildren, Brody Wright and Ella Foster; niece, Alicia Tribble and her husband, Perry of Springdale, Ark.; nephews, Luke Tribble and Paul Tribble. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Lake Village Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 20, 2016 at Lake Village Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Wetzler and Rev. Tim Chennault officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Village Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Gideon's International, P. O.
