Flora B. Little

Flora B. Wilson Little, 78, of North Little Rock, took wings on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Sherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation. The only child born to Royal Cleveland Wilson and Sarlena Sanders Wilson Whitfield; wife of John Little Jr.; mother of baby Thelma, Alberta Little Harshaw, Donald Ray George, and Charles E. Little (stepson) all who preceded her in death. Born in Oak Grove, Louisiana, moved to California and later migrated to Eudora, Arkansas before moving to North Little Rock, Arkansas. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences for 13 years and got joy as she cared for others especially children. Fondly called "Big Big" by her grands and will be greatly missed. Survivors include daughters, Grace Marie (Willie) Hamilton, North Little Rock, Arkansas and Deborah Faye (William Lamond) Rhodes, Sherwood, Arkansas; stepson, Justice Lee (Lynn) Little, North Little Rock, Arkansas; grandchildren including Flora Antoinette Little, Rolanda Little Harshaw, Heather Rhodes-Newburn (Kerry), Natalie Rhodes-Warren (Derrick), and Krystal Rhodes; great-grandchildren; other family and friends who loved "Aunt B". Services will be held on Saturday, June 25th at 11 a.m., Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 2200 Willow Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Open Visitation Friday, 1-4 p.m. at the funeral home, Public Viewing on Saturday will be one hour prior to Celebration at the church. Interment on Monday, June 27th at 12 noon, Little Rock National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester, Little Rock, Arkansas.
