Grace Mai Rimkus, 85, went to be with her Lord on June 22, 2016. Born in Little York, New Jersey on Sept. 26, 1930 and grew up in Avenel, New Jersey. She has lived in Arkansas for 36 years with residences in Ft. Smith, 13 years, Rogers, six years, and Heber Springs, 17 years. She was an active member of St. Albert's Catholic Church in Heber Springs. She had a love of cooking and baking and enjoyed sharing this love with her church. You could also find her often in her yard gardening and feeding the birds. She was most passionate about her family and grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents Philip and Margaret (Gallagher) Mai and by her siblings; Pauline Mai, Florence Schink, William, Philip, Gus, Elizabeth Baumle, Susan McQueeney, and John. Grace is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Rimkus and children; Paul Fialkowski and wife Marta of Heber Springs, Daniel Fialkowski and wife Analyn of White House Station, New Jersey, and Lori Mulhearn and husband Dawson of Conway. She will be missed by her adored grandchildren; Kevin Fialkowski, Dana Fialkowski, Sydney Mulhearn, Sarah Mulhearn, Chase Mulhearn and her siblings; Mary Johansen, Margaret Kato, Frank Mai, Catherine Schweitzer, and Victoria Stavick. The funeral mass will begin at 10 am at St. Albert's Catholic Church in Heber Springs on Saturday, June 25, 2016. There will be a viewing at the church prior to the mass.
