Colene Landon Simpson

Alta Colene Landon Simpson, 80, of DeWitt died June 26, 2016. She was born December 28, 1935, in Gillett to Fred and Clara McPeak Landon. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters Doris Perritt, Louise Perritt, and Catherine Landon; and two brothers Milfred Landon and Ted Landon. Survivors include her husband Donal Simpson; one son Roy Don Simpson and his wife Crystal; and two sisters Winnie Carver and Lena Frances Branstetter all of DeWitt. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 28 at Essex Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens by Essex Funeral Home.
