Danny Britt Huey Sr.

Danny Huey Sr., 71, of Cabot, went to be with the lord on March 3, 2016. He was born in Little Rock on June 27, 1944, to the late George Britt Huey and Maydelle Huey. Danny was a member of the 25th infantry in the U.S. Army, and proudly served our nation in the Vietnam War. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, and son. He was generally happy and full of life. Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most importantly, spending time with friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who got the opportunity to know him. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Tamra May Cotton; and siblings, Louise, Buddy, Maxine, Francis, Sammy, and Boyce. He is survived by his son, Danny Huey Jr. (Beckie) of Cabot; daughter, Bridget Holloway of Cabot; sister, Barbara Lee of Grand Rapids, Mich.; brother, Dennis Huey (Cathy) of Holly, Mich.; and grandchildren, Faith, Danny III, Kennedy, T.J., Aireonna, Morgan, Audrey, and Adam. Visitation will be Monday, March 7, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral will be Tuesday, March 8 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
