Wanda Ruth Hales Frederick, age 78, of Bismarck, passed away March 7th, 2016 at National Park Medical Center. She was born on April 15th, 1937 in Tom Bean, Texas. Wanda was a homemaker and a member of Mockingbird Street Church of Christ and enjoyed sewing, cooking and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norris K. Hales and Ruby Briggs Hales, her spouse Earl Dean Frederick, her sisters Loretta Harkins and Patricia Smith and her brothers Kenneth Hales and Marshall Wayne Hales. Survivors include her children, Dale (Carolyn) Frederick of Fayetteville, Tammy (Philip) Petre of Cabot and Sheila (Larry) Jones of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Sgt. Steven (Jessica) Petre of Ft. Riley, Kansas, Brent Jones of Hot Springs and Destin Jones of Hot Springs; great-grandchildren, Skyler Petre, Jimmy Petre and Alexis Jones, Allie Jones, Jase Jones; a brother, Charles (BoBo) Hales of Calera, Okla. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, March 11th, 2016 at Huson Funeral Chapel in Sherwood, Ark. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Ark. Visitation will be Thursday, March 10th, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Huson Funeral Home, Sherwood, Ark.
