Harlen Eugene Little

Harlen Eugene Little, 88, of Sherwood, passed away March 18, 2016. He was born to Victor and Zadie Little on November 9, 1927 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Harlen served in the U.S. Navy for 2 years. He later retired from Entergy (AP&L). He was a supporter of the Arkansas Razorbacks and was also a member of Big Red Club. He was of the Episcopalian faith. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and thoroughbred horse racing. He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Bettie Little; second wife, Sally Little; and his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Emison (Larry) of Jonesboro, Ark.; stepson, Todd Emison of Jonesboro, Ark.; brother, Vincent Little (Dolly) of Sarasota, Fla.; sister, Dorothy Ann Armbrust (Joe) of North Little Rock, Ark.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A special thanks to his step-grandson, Scott Hickman, who always thought of him as a grandfather. Special thanks to his extraordinary caretaker, Tam, who always had his best interest in mind. Many thanks to Tam's daughter, Tori, who helped out as well. Graveside service will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 2 p.m. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Arkansas or a charity of your choice.
