Frances Violet Shaw

Frances Violet Shaw, 93, of Little Rock died on March 28, 2016. She was born on September 25, 1922 to James Green and Mary Frances Tucker in Gravel Ridge, Arkansas. She retired as an inspector of Teletype Corporation. Frances volunteered at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock for over 30 years and was a member of the AT&T Pioneer Club. She was also a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and she was active in Community Bible Study and Bible Study Fellowship. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Billy D. Shaw. She is survived by her son, James A. Hamilton (Ruth) of Alexander, Arkansas; daughters, Mary Alice Henry (Joe) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Tina Sanford of Springdale, Arkansas; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211, (501) 224-8300. Funeral service will be officiated by Reverend Phil Spigner at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Immanuel Baptist Church Chapel, 501 N. Shackleford Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211.
