Samuel Holloway

Samuel "Big House" Holloway, 87, North Little Rock departed this life on March 27, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Matthews and Clara Hendrix Matthews; wife, Elizabeth Holloway; son, Wayne "Hoot Owl" Holloway; great-grandson, Duantae and grandson Jaalen; great-great-grandson, Aydan. Samuel was a 32 degree Mason and a proud member of the Protho Lodge #281, J.L.H Smith Consistory No. 76. He was also a Sciopio A. Jones Alumni member, where he received the Football Hall of Fame Award. He leaves memories with his wife, Earnestean Holloway; children, Charles (Brenda) Holloway, Charlotte Thomas, Mary Watson, Fannie (Bernard) Jones, and Sharon (Keith) Watkins; step-children, Daron (Janetta) Barker, Crystal Barker, Rodney Barker, MeShunda Myles, and Tangela (Michael) Weston; twenty six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
