Suzan Scott Lindsey Bailey

Suzan Scott Lindsey Bailey, 71, of Little Rock passed away Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016. She was born on December 12, 1944. Suzan grew up in Little Rock at her home on Normandy Lane, where she lived until her marriage to her husband of 45 years, Jim "Jimbo" Bailey. After graduation from Hall High School in 1963, she was a stay at home mom and loved every minute of it. She worked at Nettle Creek using her love and knack of decorating to help so many. She also worked at Cecil's Fine Jewelry and was a diamond specialist. It was evident that she worked in the jewelry business, she loved her bling. Suzan loved to decorate and had amazing flair of turning anything drab into something fabulous. She spent her entire adult life loving and doting on her husband, Jim; daughter, C.C.; her grandbabies and family and friends. She loved the sun, the beach, traveling and a good margarita. She lived life out loud. She is survived by her daughter, C.C. Bailey Phillips and her husband, John Phillips of Greenbrier, Arkansas and their six children, Vaughn, Emma, Caroline, Clark, Greta and Kimmie; numerous nieces and nephews and multitude of friends. Suzan is also survived by her three precious dogs, Lucy, Desi, and Darby. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211, (501) 224-8300. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Immanuel Baptist Church Chapel, 501 North Shackelford, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211 with the Reverend Kevin Lyon officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Little Rock. Special thanks to St. Vincent's Hospital staff and doctors of CVICU, Cornerstone and Arkansas Hospice.
