Linda Sue Steinhauser

Linda Sue Sager Steinhauser was born to August and Helen Sager on April 23, 1947, in Stanberry, Missouri. She died on May 3, 2016, following a tragic fall from a horse. Linda earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville in 1969. She taught elementary grades in Stanberry and Tipton in Missouri and at Little Saint Mary's and Immaculate Conception in North Little Rock for over thirty years. Linda married Robert Steinhauser on December 30, 1967. They have three children: Lori Snider and husband Brian, Douglas Steinhauser and wife Kelley, and Amber Ellis and husband Richard. They also have eight grandchildren: Clark, Audrey, Philip, Jason, and Juliet Snider, Robbie Steinhauser, and Adam and Abigail Ellis. Linda is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Betty Law. She is survived by her sister, Judy Cummings. Linda was a kind and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family. Her circle extended far beyond her immediate family to the many friends and students she loved over the years. She also had a deep devotion to the Immaculate Conception community and served God there in many ways. She loved God above all and tried in ways big and small to serve Him and help others to do the same. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday in Immaculate Conception's Parish Hall. The Rosary will follow at 7 p.m. in the church.
