Margaret Ann Watson, 93, of Pine Bluff, died Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Trinity Village Medical Center. Born February 9, 1923 in Pine Bluff, she was the daughter of Bonnie Butler Pritchard and Laura Helen Bishop Pritchard. A lifetime resident of Pine Bluff, she graduated from Watson Chapel High School and Judkins Business College of Pine Bluff. Margaret was married on July 6, 1947 to Everett Clifton Watson at Lakeside United Methodist Church. Mr. Watson preceded her in death on November 13, 2003. As an accountant, she was employed by Newton, Owen and Boyd, Certified Public Accountants, from December 1952 until May 1985. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution Pine Bluff-John McAlmont Chapter, having joined in the year 1962, where she served as Chapter Regent, a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and served as Arkansas State Society Registrar for two years. She was a life member of the ASDAR State Officers Club, and was also a member of the Colonial Dames XVII Century, John Elliot Chapter. Joining Lakeside United Methodist Church on April 1, 1942, she served on the Administrative Board and taught Sunday School. She was a life member of the Lakeside United Methodist Women (formerly Women's Missionary Society), and served as president and group leader. She was a member of the Pine Bluff Duplicate Bridge Club, the Little Rock Duplicate Bridge Club and the American Contract Bridge League. She was a Life Master, Club Manager, and Club Director in Duplicate Bridge, a teacher of Duplicate and Contract Bridge and was a charter member of the Kings and Queens Duplicate Bridge Club. Also preceding her in death were her parents; an infant daughter, Margo Watson; sister, Dorothy Helen Graves; brother, Dick Pritchard; and niece, Jeannie Pritchard Serko. Survivors include one nephew, Carl Jefferson Graves, Jr. and his wife, Kathy Graves and her daughter, Erika M. Little of Little Rock; also, a grand niece, Kimberly Serko Orth and her husband, Michael Orth, of Lawrence, Kansas and their two sons, Aidan and Ryan Orth; and many loving cousins, including Betty Coles. Graveside services only will be 10 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2016 at Graceland Cemetery with Reverend Pam Estes officiating. There will be no formal visitation or reception.
