John R. (Jack) Ernst

JOHN R. (JACK) ERNST passed away on May 14, 2016. Jack was a co-founder of Cravens Fabrics & Supplies, charter member of North Pulaski United Methodist Church, served in the U.S. Navy, helped organize and was very active in the Rackensack Pony Club and co-organizer of the Jubilee Horse Trials. He also volunteered in many horse trials in neighboring states. Never a rider, but definitely a supporter of the English riding community. Preceded in death by wife, Barbara J. Bryant Ernst; mother, Kana Lou Cravens; and step-father, Henry Cravens. Survivors include two daughters, Wendy Tittle of North Little Rock and Gail McManus of Colorado and grandson, Tommy Lee Gullahorn III of Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at North Pulaski United Methodist Church on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jack's name may be made to North Pulaski United Methodist Church.
