L.O. "Humpy" Ferguson

L.O. "Humpy" Ferguson, 87, of Fayetteville died May 20, 2016 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home. He was born January 25, 1929 in Plainview, Arkansas to Frank and Minnie Parsley Ferguson. He was a graduate of West Fork High School. He proudly served in the US Navy from 1948 to 1953 aboard the USS Eldorado during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Trans Video and Warner Cable for 42 years. L.O. was a member of Arkansas Officials Association. He refereed football and basketball for a total of 33 years and was broadcast engineer for many years with ARN Radio Broadcasting. He was a dedicated, father and grandfather of five children, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. No services are planned. Condolences may be made to www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.
