Fior DaLiza Sellers

Fior DaLiza Sellers, "Lisa," 73, of Conway, went home to be with Our Lord May 26, 2016. She was born Oct. 22, 1942, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to the late Esteban Emilo de Tejeda and Juana Bautista Mejia de Tejeda. She was a loving, supportive and courageous mother and a friend to all who knew her. She was the model of hard work, perseverance and doing what needs to be done to achieve her American Dream. A true matriarch of our family, she has received the culmination of her faith, joining her Savior. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two brothers; Luis Aldofo Tejeda and Franklin Tejeda; one sister, Mercedes de Janira Tejeda of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Lisa is survived by her three daughters, Juana Sellers "Sally" of Conway, Carolina Sellers of Jacksonville, Fla., Teresa Warren of Sherwood, Ark., Jack Sellers (Aron), and Richard Sellers of Conway. Grandsons, Erik Sellers (Catherine), Talon Sellers and Jameson Warren, and one granddaughter, Jenna Sellers. One brother, Rudy Tejedia Mejia and three sisters, Nieve Areli Tejeda, Berky Tejeda and Maritza de Fatima Tejeda of Dominican Republic. We thank Dale Hale, her boyfriend, for always being there through her life and challenging illness. Thank you Mora Bryson for taking good care of our mother and Arkansas Hospice for your care and support. We also thank Dr. Annette Anderson, for her support and for helping us understand her condition of Alzheimer's. A memorial service will be held at 5:00PM, Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel, (501) 327-7727 with her grandson, Minister Erik Sellers officiating.
