Dewitt Kiihnl

Dewitt Talmadge Kiihnl, 84, of Searcy, passed from this life Nov. 5, 2016. He was born in Enid, Miss., Oct. 11, 1932 to David Talmadge Kiihnl and Ouida Hall Kiihnl. He was an U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Hazel Kiihnl and Vera Mae Pipkin; and brother, John Winzel Kiihnl. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Demetra Lemmons Kiihnl; sister, Edith (Jack) Chaffin; children, Mike (Kathy), Randy (Mandy), Patricia (Terry) and Mitchell (Melanie). He is also survived by grandchildren, Clay (Katelyn), Caleb (Kaitlin), Tyler (Fiance Kinsey), Raeanne, Mack, and Ellie; three great grandchildren, Parker, Tucker, and Spencer. Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016 at Westside Church of Christ in Searcy followed by funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at White County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Care of Kensett.
