Edith Marie Rand

EDITH MARIE RAND, age 81, of Little Rock passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. She was born Jan. 6, 1935 in Gillette, Ark., the daughter of the late Robert Luther Huddleston and Viola Purcell Huddleston. Mrs. Rand attended Lone Pine Missionary Baptist Church in Hensley and enjoyed gardening. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Joe Rand and Lucian C. Sanders. Left to cherish her memory, sons, Lucian D. Sanders and his wife, Carolyn of Redfield, George Sanders and his wife, Mary of Little Elm, Texas, and Jessie Sanders of Mabelvale; daughter, Susie Meredith and her husband, Ron of Redfield; sister, Geraldine Huddleston of Cabot; eleven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 10 a.m., Monday, Nov. 7, 2016 at Lone Pine Missionary Baptist Church in Hensley with Brother Ron Meredith officiating. Services will conclude at the church. Pallbearers are Lukie Sanders, Jessie Sanders, Dale Perkins, Cody Perkins, Colton Perkins, Branden Meredith, Landen Meredith, and Dylan Bowman. Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
