Ruby Glo Pratt Walker

Ruby Glo Pratt Walker died Oct. 13, 2016, in Nashville, Tenn. She was born in Strong, Ark., on Feb. 20, 1921, to Eva Dean McMath and Schuyler Templeton Pratt, at the home of her maternal grandparents, Lula Agnes Adams and Benjamin Ingram McMath, delivered by her mother's cousin, Dr. John McMath. Her paternal grandparents were Minnie Dearing and Joshua Tatum Pratt of Strong, Ark. After moving to El Dorado, Ark., in 1940, where she met and married her husband, the late Floyd Meredith Walker, in 1947, she also lived, because of her husband's work in the oil business, in Midland, Texas; Billings, Montana; and Denver, Colo., before returning in 1964 to El Dorado, Ark., where she lived until moving to Little Rock, Ark., in 2010 to live with her daughter, Pamela Walker. She is predeceased by five of her six siblings: Gerald McMath Pratt of Houston, Texas; Schuyler Templeton Pratt, Jr. of Strong, Ark.; Virginia Rose Pratt Weaver of Malvern, Ark.; Patricia Faye Pratt Jenkins of Hamburg, Ark.; and Grady McMath Pratt of Houston, Texas, and Bernice, La. She is survived by her daughter, attorney Pamela Dean Walker of Little Rock, Ark.; by her daughter attorney Patricia Gail Walker and husband, attorney William Michael Hamilton of Nashville, Tenn.; by two grandchildren: Eric Walker Hamilton of Nashville, Tenn., and Corey Walker Hamilton of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and by her sister, Florice Pratt Mouton of San Antonio, Texas. Memorial service to be announced at a later date.
