Ralph Jacobs

RALPH JACOBS, of Maumelle, Ark., passed away peacefully and quietly surrounded by family on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016. A native of Rockingham, N.C., Ralph served in the United States Air Force until his retirement in 1975. After retiring, he moved to Lake Charles, La. He lived in Lake Charles for 21 years, where he retired from PPG Industries. After his second retirement, Ralph moved to Rutherford, N.C. where he lived for 14 years before finally moving to Maumelle, Ark. Ralph is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Eklund Jacobs; three children, Jay Jacobs and Brenda Jacobs Hardy, both of Lake Charles, La. and Jeff Jacobs of Maumelle, Ark; three grandchildren, Evan Hardy of Lake Charles, La., and Aaron and Emma Jacobs of Maumelle, Ark.; two siblings, Helen Barnes of Kannapolis, N.C ., and Vernon Jacobs of Monroe, N.C.
